Study Scripture alongside the people you trust.
Ask questions, get answers grounded in the text, and study together — at your own pace.

Faith conversations get lost in the busyness of life.
The questions come and then they disappear — into the Sunday commute, the workweek, the ordinary rhythm of things that crowd out the things that matter.
You want to go deeper with your spouse or a mentor, but there's never enough time in person to cover everything. The conversation starts and then it's time to move on.
Alongside is built for the space between — the questions you carry through the week, the passages you want to sit with, the conversations that need more room than Sunday allows.
What it does
Everything you need for a life of deeper study.
Ask anything
Type a question, a verse, even just a word. Alongside searches Scripture and returns answers with the actual passages it's drawing from.
Go deeper
Every answer is a starting point. Follow the references, ask follow-ups, and build a thread of study you can return to any time.
Study together
Invite your spouse, a friend, or a mentor. You each bring your questions; the conversation grows together.
Your church, built in
Coming soonWhen your church connects Alongside, answers draw from your doctrine and resources. Questions about grief find GriefShare. New members find the starting-point class.
"Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another."
— Proverbs 27:17 (BSB)
Alongside is built on the conviction that faith is meant to be walked with others. The AI answers your questions. The people in your thread are the ones who walk with you.
For pastors
Thinking about Alongside for your congregation?
We're building a church tier that connects your doctrine, sermon series, and ministry resources directly to the app. When your congregation asks about grief, loss, or starting out in faith, Alongside can point them toward the programs and people your church has already put in place.
Get in touch and help shape what that looks like. We're talking to pastors now.
How it works
How Alongside works
No theology degree required. No special preparation. Just open the app and bring what you're actually thinking about.
1
Ask a question
You open Alongside and type what's on your mind. A question about a passage, a life situation you want to bring to Scripture, or just a word — "hope" or "grief." The AI searches Scripture and returns answers grounded in the text, with the actual verses.
2
Go deeper
Every answer includes the Scripture it's drawing from. Follow the references, ask follow-up questions, and build a thread of study you can come back to.
3
Study together
Invite your spouse, a friend, a mentor, or a growth group. You each ask your own questions and see each other's. The AI is a librarian and notetaker — the people in the thread are the disciplers.

Your church, in the app
Coming soonWhen your church connects Alongside, answers are informed by your church's doctrine and resources. Questions about grief surface GriefShare. Questions about new members surface the starting point class.
Privacy
Privacy, in plain English
What we collect, what we never do, and what happens to your spiritual conversations.
What we collect
When you create an account: your email address, display name, and an optional bio. When you use the app: your study content (questions and AI answers), usage events, and basic device metadata. What we do not collect: location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any data from third-party trackers.
What we never do
Read your conversations recreationally. Use your content to train AI models — not ours, not Anthropic's, not anyone's. Sell your data. Share your data with advertisers. None of these, ever.
When we might access your content
Three cases only: you ask us to (a support request), a bug requires it (crash investigation), or a legal or safety obligation compels it. In every case, the access is logged — who accessed it, what they accessed, when, and why. The log cannot be modified after the fact.
Your rights
Export everything we hold about you. Delete your account — hard delete within 30 days, meaning your content is unrecoverable after that window. Correct your profile at any time from the app's settings.
A note to pastors
We understand what it means when someone in your congregation opens up about grief, doubt, or a struggling marriage inside an app. We treat that seriously. Every admin access to user content is logged. We don't browse. We don't train. We don't sell.
Trust & Security
How we handle your data
Infrastructure
All data encrypted at rest (AWS KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Authentication via AWS Cognito — we never store passwords. AWS Lambda with isolated execution environments per request, using scoped IAM roles rather than direct database credentials.
AI and your data
Alongside uses Anthropic Claude via AWS Bedrock. Both are configured for no data retention and no use of user inputs for model training. We do not separately retain your content for training purposes.
Third-party processors
The complete list of services that handle user data: AWS (compute, storage, auth), AWS Bedrock / Anthropic Claude (AI inference), Amazon SES (transactional email), Microsoft 365 (our internal email). No Google Analytics. No Mixpanel. No ad networks. That is the entire list.
The audit log
Every time an Alongside team member accesses user content, it is logged: who accessed it, what they accessed, when, and why. The log is append-only and cannot be modified after the fact. This is enforced at the infrastructure level, not just by policy.
